This monthly report excludes any salaried income. The purpose of this financial review is to assess the sustainability of my financial independence, focusing solely on the total amount of passive income received. As of 2024 September 1st, I have officially activated my FIRE journey, meaning I am no longer receiving a salary from a traditional job.
It’s been a short month, but things are definitely moving forward. My project is progressing as planned, and now it’s just a matter of waiting for the results.
Dividend income totaled $1,958.66, and rental income remains steady. Not much else. It’s been 5 months since I activated FIRE, and everything is still on track. Some friends joked that I should have gained weight by now, but nope, no change in my appearance! LOL.
The increase in expenses during Chinese New Year has impacted the growth of my war chest, which has become somewhat stagnant. The absence of a salary income is definitely noticeable.
