Monthly Financial Updates

This monthly report excludes any salaried income. The purpose of this financial review is to assess the sustainability of my financial independence, focusing solely on the total amount of passive income received. As of 2024 September 1st, I have officially activated my FIRE journey, meaning I am no longer receiving a salary from a traditional job.

Well, the end of the year and the beginning of another. A rather massive year-end bonus from dividend income amounted to $6,009.17. Seems like they prefer to drag it until the end of the year these days. LOL.

Expenses, however, shot up after changing the house door. Bo bian... it was collapsing, couldn't even lock it. Had to spend!

Adding rental income and other sources, the total for December amounted to $8,369.07. This brought the total for the 4th quarter to $15,598.26, which is an average of about $5,050 per month. We also received some household subsidies from the government in December, but these won’t be included here since they aren't passive income.

And that wraps up 2024. Happy New Year!

No big changes in the portfolio. Now that I’m no longer drawing any salaried income, cash holdings are growing much slower than before.
